  • Motion reference: S6M-12496

That the Parliament congratulates the newly formed Helensburgh Events and Reinvestment Trust (HEART), formerly known as Helensburgh Round Table; considers that this change in identity signals a commitment to community involvement and inclusivity, uniting businesses and residents to shape the future of the town; appreciates what it sees as the long-standing efforts of the group in organising events such as the annual Santa Dash, Burns Supper, Beer, Wine and Gin Festivals and fireworks displays, which, it believes, are treasured by all who attend from across the region; acknowledges that HEART aims to support local causes through philanthropic projects and innovation, in order to ensure that Helensburgh remains what it sees as an attractive destination, and wishes the HEART group every success in its plans for the future.
