That the Parliament congratulates Peter Moses on being chosen to play cricket at the over-60s World Cup 2024; understands that Peter, who is the honorary president of Stenhousemuir Cricket Club, will represent the Rest of the World in the event in Chennai, India, from 19 February until early March 2024; notes that the Rest of the World team, which comprises of seven players from Scotland alongside players from other countries including Sweden, Spain, Malta, Kenya and the United Arab Emirates, will compete in Group A against New Zealand, Canada, USA, South Africa, Zimbabwe and England; understands that the event, held by International Men’s Cricket, had its inaugural competition in Australia in 2022 and that 2024 is its second iteration; congratulates Peter on being selected to play in the over-60s World Cup 2024, and wishes him every success in his tournament.
