That the Parliament congratulates the three crucial teams that provide social care services within the Falkirk District on their nomination for the Scottish Social Services Awards 2023; understands that the Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) Learning Disability Team has been nominated in the categories for excellence within its field; recognises that a combined entry between Falkirk HSCP Joint Dementia Initiative with Caledonia Service has been shortlisted in the mental health service category; notes that the Falkirk Council Women’s Justice Service has also been nominated within the excellence in justice category; commends the work of Falkirk HSCP, which has received numerous nominations and awards recently, including being named Best Place to Grow Old in a recent Sunday Times league table, which it believes attests to the high quality provision that all staff work hard to ensure is available throughout Falkirk’s communities; further congratulates these critical teams on the nominations that they have received, and wishes them all the best of luck at the coming awards ceremony.
