Audrey Grant Named Artist in Residence

That the Parliament congratulates Audrey Grant, originally from Grangemouth, on being named the honorary Artist in Residence at the University of Stirling for the academic year 2023-24; understands that her artwork will be displayed within the University of Stirling for staff, students and visitors to appreciate, while building on the university’s Art Collection initiative, which aims to make arts and culture a daily norm; believes that her work will form 2023's collection, Campus as Inspiration, and will showcase her artistic style of using drawings, photographs and site-specific installations, which draw influence from intellectual ideas from poetry, literature and philosophy; understands that Audrey will look to local influences such as the Airthrey Estate near Bridge of Allan during her residency; congratulates Audrey Grant on her appointment, and wishes her well over this term.
