Alister Hadden Retires from Wallyford Community Council After 25 Years

That the Parliament congratulates Alister Hadden on his retirement, after serving on Wallyford Community Council for 25 years; understands that Alister is the current Chair of the Community Council and has helped to champion many local issues and organise several community events over the years, including initiatives to mark Wallyford’s mining history; acknowledges that Alister remains active in many other community groups, including the Pinkie Cleugh Battlefield and Tapestry Group and the Musselburgh Museum and Heritage Group; notes that Alister was nominated as the Midlothian North and Musselburgh constituency's Local Hero in the Scottish Parliament in 2021 for his service to the community, and for making a positive difference to the lives of others; commends Alister’s dedication and enthusiasm, which serves as an example to everyone; thanks Alister for all his work over the years, and wishes him well in his retirement from the Community Council.
