That the Parliament recognises the establishment of the (Re)Writing History Creative Writing workshop in Lochgelly; congratulates Matthew Knights, of Knights Theatre, for his efforts in bringing local people together to tell the stories of their areas across the country; acknowledges what it sees as the importance of both the sharing of social histories of Scottish communities, and of access to creative opportunities for all; welcomes the exploration of Lochgelly’s rich mining heritage, and understands that the project has also been established in Dundee, Falkirk, West Lothian, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
