That the Parliament commends New College Lanarkshire for working with sustainable fashion company ACS Clothing to deliver an innovative new training programme for students; understands that ACS Clothing has been delivering circular fashion since 1997 through dress rentals, and a renewal service that enables brands and retailers to introduce a resale model alongside their existing retail model and involves ACS Clothing carrying out any textile repairs, eco-friendly cleaning, quality control and more in order to get pre-loved items back on the shelf; further understands that New College Lanarkshire’s new course, Pathways to Textile Care and Warehousing, starts in August 2022, and wishes students, as well as ACS Clothing, all the best for the future.
