  • Motion reference: S6M-02459

That the Parliament welcomes the announcement that Greyhope Bay Ltd and Miscarriage Information and Support Service (MISS) have been awarded respective £10,000 grants from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland fund; understands that Greyhope Bay, which is establishing a dolphin viewing centre, cafe and community space at Torry Battery, Aberdeen, will use the grant to pay for a project manager to oversee the planning and delivery of a programme of events, alongside managing community engagement; notes that MISS, which provides support for women and families affected by miscarriage, will use its funding to expand the service to include group and one-to-one sessions, information packs and memory boxes; commends both organisations on receiving the deserved funding, and wishes all involved every success in the future.
