Baby Loss Retreat and Shawhead Family Learning Centre Win ASDA Green Token Giving Award

That the Parliament congratulates Baby Loss Retreat and the Shawhead Family Learning Centre on winning £500 each in the ASDA Green Token Giving awards; understands that the winners are decided by ASDA customers voting for the charitable projects that matter most to them; notes that Baby Loss Retreat was set up to help families trying to cope with the death of a child, and the Shawhead Family Learning Centre uses an integrated approach to educate new families on a wide range of relevant fields; further praises the following organisations that were announced as runners up: Kirkshaws Tiny Tots Playgroup, Coatbridge Community Orchard, 9th Coatbridge Cub Scouts and Beaver Scouts and St Bartholomew’s nursery class; notes that the runners up were awarded £200 each, and acknowledges the value that all of these Coatbridge and Chryston organisations have for the local and national community.
