Carers Rights Day 2021

That the Parliament notes that Carers Rights Day will be marked on 25 November 2021; acknowledges that Carers Rights Day is supported by Carers UK and that the purpose of this day is to ensure carers are aware of their rights and to raise awareness of the needs of carers; understands that there are estimated to be 759,000 adults carers and 29,000 young carers in Scotland, and supports the efforts to make carers aware of their statutory rights.
