That the Parliament notes that plans are in place for the start of renovations at the Letham Recreation Centre in Perth and the transfer of ownership to community organisation, Letham4All; believes that this work will provide upgraded facilities, including a community kitchen, soft play area and community gym; considers that this will be an excellent resource and amenity for people in the area; notes that Letham4All will continue its important work in the community by providing existing services at other venues around the area while the refurbishment is underway; welcomes the contribution to this project that has come from a variety of funding sources, including the Scottish Government, Perth and Kinross Council and the National Lottery; congratulates everybody involved in Letham4All for this fantastic achievement, and looks forward to the Letham Recreation Centre’s revitalisation as a vibrant community hub.
