Greenock Health and Care Centre officially open for business

That the Parliament welcomes the official opening of the new Greenock Health and Care Centre, which was delivered thanks to £21 million of Scottish Government investment; appreciates that the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care attended the ceremony to officially open the facility; recognises that this state-of-the-art building provides patients with access to three GP practices, district nursing, health visiting, child and adolescent mental health services, podiatry, physiotherapy, care at home services, community dental care, social work teams, a pharmacy, treatment room wing, and sexual health services; believes that bringing a broad range of services under one roof will help to improve the health outcomes for the local community that it serves; considers that the investment and delivery of the new Greenock Health and Care Centre demonstrates the commitment of the Scottish Government and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde to improving and modernising local health services; commends all the efforts of those who oversaw the delivery of the centre, and wishes staff at the facility all the best as they continue to serve patients during the pandemic.
