That the Parliament congratulates the A9 Berriedale Braes Improvement Project on winning the Rural Resilience Award at the 2021 Scottish Civil Engineering Awards; notes that complex engineering solutions were needed to improve the safety of a tight hairpin bend and to improve the alignment of the carriageway; hopes that the travelling public will now enjoy a more comfortable, safer and quicker journey through this section of the A9, and thanks all those involved for their highly-skilled work to help improve connectivity in the far north of Scotland.
