East Dunbartonshire Council and Unite Hospitality's Safe Home Campaign

That the Parliament notes that East Dunbartonshire Council's Licensing Board has recently brought in additional criteria when considering late opening applications from licensed premises; welcomes that these criteria include late night transport arrangements for employees; notes that this is expected to significantly benefit the safety and wellbeing of hospitality workers, particularly women, who often cannot afford, or access, safe transport options late at night; congratulates Unite Hospitality on this significant win for their Safe Home campaign, and encourages all other local authorities to introduce similar criteria.
