Former Irvine Nurse, Jean Whyte, Celebrates 100th Birthday

That the Parliament congratulates Jean Whyte from Irvine on her 100th birthday celebrations on 17 September 2021; understands that Jean was born in Glasgow and moved to Irvine in the 1970s; notes that she married Alex Whyte while serving in the Second World War and went on to have four children, Les, David, Susan and Valerie, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, with another on the way; acknowledges that, after moving to the town, Jean worked in Irvine Central Hospital and served as a community nurse in Ayrshire into her 60s, and wishes Jean a very happy 100th birthday.
