That the Parliament notes the inspiring work of the Jack Kane Community Centre, alongside the City of Edinburgh Council, in offering volunteering experiences for young people; congratulates it on its successful three-year funding award to be through BBC Children in Need, which was gained by it listening and acting on its volunteering stories; applauds the commitment and drive shown by staff and project partners, who have continued to provide wonderful educational volunteering opportunities to young people and who, in that time, have grown their positive impact on the wider learning community; notes that it has become the first community centre in Scotland to gain the Community Learning and Development standard, and hopes that it will continue to have a huge impact in the community for years to come.
