National Lottery Funding for Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust

That the Parliament recognises that Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust has received £10,000 from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; understands that the Trust will use the funding for its free transport service for cancer patients to travel to hospital or treatment appointments across Lanarkshire; notes that Lanarkshire Cancer Carer Trust is an independent charity that provides volunteer drivers who take cancer patients to hospital appointments, clinics, and day-care facilities; expresses thanks to Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust for its ongoing commitment to serving the community, and wishes the organisation all the best for the future.
