Paul Anderson Receives the Cultural Award at Inspiring Aberdeenshire 2021

That the Parliament congratulates Paul Anderson, from Tarland, for receiving the Cultural Award at the Inspiring Aberdeenshire 2021 awards; understands that Paul is a well-loved fiddler who has dedicated his career to promoting Scottish fiddle music, including his academic research in ways to reconnect local musicians with the unique fiddle style of the north east; recognises that Paul has taught the fiddle all over the world, performed globally and continues to teach and perform online during the COVID-19 pandemic; commends everyone who was nominated at the Inspiring Aberdeenshire 2021 awards, and wishes Paul all the best for the future.
