That the Parliament welcomes the news that East Lothian Foodbank in Tranent has had success in its summer food collection scheme, which took place at the three Tesco supermarkets in East Lothian in North Berwick, Haddington and Musselburgh; notes the comments by a representative of the foodbank that they were “blown away by the amazing generosity” that people showed; further notes that collections continue at the supermarkets, as well as at many other locations, and encourages residents across East Lothian and Scotland to continue to support their local foodbanks, which do so much to support people in crisis.
