C-Jay Quigley MSYP, LGBT Youth Representative

That the Parliament thanks C-Jay Quigley MSYP (Member of the Scottish Youth Parliament), who is stepping down having served as an MSYP representing LGBT Youth Scotland for two years; notes the outstanding work that C-Jay has undertaken to promote women’s rights, trans rights and LGBT+ young people’s rights, including lodging several successful motions with the Scottish Youth Parliament; notes that C-Jay also self-published a book raising awareness of inclusive families for LGBT History Month 2021, and co-hosted an event in the Scottish Parliament that celebrated LGBT History Month 2020; commends C-Jay for the passion and commitment with which she has represented LGBT+ young people in Scotland, and wishes her good luck in her future endeavours.
