Falkland Golf Club Receives Fife Sport Recognition Award

That the Parliament congratulates Falkland Golf Club for receiving East Fife Sports Council’s Fife Sport Recognition Award; recognises that this was given to the club for the significant difference it has made to the community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, including providing vital social interaction for older ex-golfers, and with 30% more members in 2020, allowing more people access to sport; notes that through its embrace of volunteers and technology, the club has been able to carry out widespread improvement works, and wishes it all the best for the future.
