That the Parliament recognises the work of the Fife-based charity, EATS Rosyth, which has frequently delivered free food items to older residents in the Beild’s Gillie Court and Grants Banks housing complexes, during the COVID-19 pandemic; understands that the charity changed its operating model to expand the service offering across west Fife, to help vulnerable people who were shielding and unable to get out to buy food; believes that the community-led charity, based in Fife, is committed to reducing food wastage, helping the environment and improving food education, and has helped dozens of people who could not access the supermarket at the start of lockdown; acknowledges that feedback from residents has been positive; recognises the value of the provision for people during this difficult year; extends its very best wishes to the charity for the success of its projects and heartfelt gratitude to the staff and volunteers who so selflessly have given their time and contributed to the benefit of others who are vulnerable in their local community, and appreciates the wider work of the charity and its dedication to the environment, food sustainability and the value of community projects such as this.
