Motherwell Among Top 10 Destinations for Staycation

That the Parliament notes that Motherwell has been placed among the top ten destinations for staycations this summer; understands that the town in North Lanarkshire was named one of the best places in the UK for a socially-distanced holiday in the Safecation report conducted by money.co.uk, which was based on factors such as free activities, space, safety, park entry fee, dog friendliness and visitors per year; considers that Motherwell is rich in its activities and green spaces, from Strathclyde Country Park to the Dutchess Park, and, once it is safe to so, encourages MSPs and members of the public to choose Motherwell for their next staycation.
