Sterling Charity Efforts by Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary Staff

That the Parliament commends the staff at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary for their unstinting fundraising activities, including running and walking to raise funds for The Captain Tom Foundation and the charity, Nith Inshore Rescue; notes that this fundraising has included members of its critical care, theatre and outpatient departments; praises their outstanding commitment to help others, despite being at the frontline in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic; thanks them for their dedication and inspiration: recognises the incredible work carried out by Nith Inshore Rescue and applauds the amazing charitable work being carried out memory of the late Captain Sir Tom, who inspired millions with his own indomitable charity efforts in raising funds for the MHS, and sends its best wishes to the staff at the Royal Infirmary.
