  • Date lodged: Monday, 14 December 2020
  • Motion reference: S5M-23690

That the Parliament applauds the Dyce-based charity, AberNecessities, on its latest campaign to deliver more than 500 Christmas Eve boxes to disadvantaged children in the north east; acknowledges sponsorship from Shell, which has provided funding for over 300 of the boxes; believes that each box will be packed with pyjamas, slipper socks, a festive activity, Christmas storybook, a mug and hot chocolate, sweet treats, reindeer food and a snack for Santa; celebrates the charity's initiative in ensuring that every child gets to believe in the magic of Christmas; recognises its continued commitment to families across the city and shire, and thanks all those that continue to donate to this exceptional charity.
