Alladale Wilderness Reserve Wins Sustainable Development Award

That the Parliament congratulates the Alladale Wilderness Reserve in Ardgay on winning the Sustainable Development Award at the virtual Scottish Green Energy Awards ceremony, which were held on 26 November; notes that the Reserve, which was also nominated in the Carbon Reduction category, is a 23,000-acre wilderness reserve that includes extensive native tree planting, peatland restoration, outdoor learning for teenagers and multiple wildlife projects, and commends the Reserve for its diligent work in rewilding the region.
