That the Parliament congratulates Councillor Stephen Burns on winning the Community Champion award at the 2020 Cllr Awards; understands that the awards are the only awards that showcase the important work of councillors across England and Scotland and bring together the best and brightest councillors to celebrate and honour the vital contributions that they make to communities; appreciates the hard work and dedication that it considers Councillor Burns has shown to both his ward in Paisley and wider Renfrewshire since becoming a councillor, and wholeheartedly praises him and all those nominated at this year’s awards for all that they have done during this particularly challenging year.
