That the Parliament congratulates the staff and students of the University of St Andrews on being awarded the Retail Partner Award at the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) annual Heart Heroes Awards; recognises that, as part of the BHF’s Pack for Good campaign, students and staff donated 39 tonnes of donations in less than a year, raising £80,000 for BHF research and diverting unwanted items from landfill; notes that, to enable this, the university has established 19 new donation points across campus, and understands that work is ongoing for additional donation points at private rental properties to extend the campaign to those students living off campus.
