That the Parliament welcomes the autumn edition of Aberdeen Restaurant Week; celebrates the collaboration and partnership of the event organisers Aberdeen Inspired with Aberdeen Journals, Aberdeen City Council, VisitAberdeenshire and Aberdeen Hospitality Together; highlights that the 2020 event has been extended to two weeks, running from 2 to 15 November; acknowledges that all participating restaurants will be following current COVID-secure measures to ensure that diners can enjoy two whole weeks of delicious food and drinks offered up by city eateries; notes that they will offer fixed price lunch or dinner priced at £10 or £20; understands that the aim of the event is to encourage everyone to support community-based businesses; believes that restaurants require support more than ever during these uncertain times, and hopes that people will take the opportunity to support their local restaurants safely.
