Jack Gatacre and Antonio Vastano Kayak 700 Miles for Charity

That the Parliament commends the fundraising efforts of Jack Gatacre and Antonio Vastano; understands that they will kayak a distance of 700 miles in less than two weeks; notes that they will start in Pittenween in Fife on 1 August 2020 and that their journey will take them along the Forth and Clyde, through the Inner Hebrides to Fort William, through Loch Ness and into the Moray Firth, past Peterhead, Aberdeen, and finally Dundee as they return to Pittenween; applauds how their hard work has raised awareness of the Fishermen’s Mission, which provides financial and emotional support and gives further employment, educational and training opportunities to fishermen; further applauds their support of Birchwood Highlands, a charity that helps people through mental health recovery; acknowledges the importance of supporting Scottish fishermen, and wishes them well as they embark on this journey.
