- Motion reference: S5M-21381
That the Parliament commends Big Hearts Community Trust for its implementation of four new dedicated helplines in place of the range of face-to-face services that it usually provides to the community; understands that these new helplines will be used to support the 150 vulnerable adults and children who usually access its services and will offer targeted assistance; praises the staff team, who have so far completed hundreds of calls to families, isolated adults and older people while working remotely, and believes that this announcement is a prime example of civic spirit in response to COVID-19.
