That the Parliament welcomes the 47th annual National Hello Day, which takes place on 21 November 2019 and asks people to participate by greeting at least 10 people, be they friends, family or strangers, throughout the day; acknowledges that the day originated as a response to the conflict between Israel and Egypt in 1973; recognises that the day reflects the importance of communication in obtaining world peace; notes that the day is observed by 180 countries and is considered to be an important instrument to preserving peace by many Nobel Peace Prize winners, and encourages everyone to use the opportunity to build bridges, make peace or simply say hello.
