That the Parliament welcomes the £14.7 million Scottish Enterprise investment in the Glasgow-based satellite company, Spire Global, which will enable it to move to new premises at the Skypark facility and increase its workforce from 60 to more than 320 in over five years; celebrates the company's success in the field of nanosatellites and its commitment to Glasgow; believes that this is the largest funding packing provided by the enterprise agency, and considers that it sends a strong message that Scotland remains open for business and has the potential to be Europe’s leading space nation.
