Ballater Pharmacy Awarded for Dedication to Flooded Community

That the Parliament congratulates Davidsons Chemist in Ballater on winning the Community Pharmacy Team Award at the Scottish Pharmacy Awards; commends its efforts to deliver and dispense against all odds and for opening a temporary dispensing unit within two days of Storm Frank in 2015, when the business and the surrounding community faced devastating floods that destroyed the pharmacy; recognises that the judges praised the team for their joint effort to rebuild the pharmacy and support other clinics during this time; thanks the team for their motivation, determination and loyalty to their community in such vulnerable and critical circumstances, and wishes them continued enjoyment in serving the Ballater community.
