That the Parliament congratulates Jack Norquoy on winning the Member of the Scottish Youth Parliament (MSYP) of the Year Award at the Scottish Youth Parliament Awards Evening 2019, which were held on 16 March; understands that this is the second occasion that Jack has won the award since he was first elected in 2015; believes that this award is richly deserved in recognition of the outstanding contribution that Jack has made, representing Orkney, the Scottish and UK youth parliaments over the last four years; recognises that Jack has managed to combine this work while continuing to study for his degree at the University of Aberdeen; acknowledges what it sees as the important role that MSYPs and the Scottish Youth Parliament play in representing young people across Scotland and ensuring that their voice is heard in debates on the policy issues that matter; thanks Jack and all those who have served as MSYPs over the last two years, and wishes all those standing this time round all the best in the elections later in March 2019.
