Ashwood Scotland Foundation's Latest Success

That the Parliament congratulates the Ashwood Scotland Foundation of West Lothian, which was set-up over a decade ago by the construction company, Ashwood Scotland Ltd, on raising around £7,500 at its recent annual ball; notes that over 140 guests attended the event, at which the Brass Ensemble from Deans Community High School played Christmas carols; acknowledges that the money raised is to be shared between Friends of Chernobyl's Children West Lothian, Simpson Babies and the Marie Curie Hospice in Edinburgh, which offers support to people across Lothian, including in the Almond Valley constituency; commends the work of the foundation on raising over £125,000 for its nominated charities over the last 10 years; recognises the hard work and dedication of Archie Meikle, who is the managing director of Ashwood Scotland Ltd and the trustee of the foundation; applauds his commitment to fundraising events that benefit the community; sends Archie and the foundation its best wishes, and hopes that they enjoy continued success.
