That the Parliament congratulates Tarves Development Trust (TDT) on securing an award of £99,200 from the Scottish Land Fund; understands that the money will allow TDT to take over ownership of the Tarves Community Hub, which the trust has already converted into a community café, office space and meeting venue; recognises that the Scottish Land Fund supports rural and urban communities to become more resilient and sustainable through the ownership and management of land and land assets, and that it provides practical support and funding to enable local people to work together to develop their ideas and aspirations, put in place effective structures, and plan and complete viable land and land assets acquisition projects; acknowledges that the Scottish Land Fund is funded by the Scottish Government and delivered in partnership between the Big Lottery Fund and Highlands and Islands Enterprise; commends TDT on its efforts to create the community hub in the village, and wishes all those involved well.
