Scottish Health Awards 2018

That the Parliament commends the Scottish Health Awards 2018; believes that the event, which took place on 1 November, provided an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the dedicated and exceptional staff who keep the NHS running 24/7; notes that this was the 17th year of the awards; acknowledges that the ceremony coincided with the 70th anniversary of the NHS; notes that 374 nominations were received across the 17 categories; congratulates all of the nominees on earning the respect of  patients and colleagues; appreciates their hard work, talents and commitment to delivering high standards of health and social care; recognises that the judging panel had an extremely difficult task as the standard of shortlisted nominees was exceptional; congratulates all of the winners on their extraordinary contribution and well-deserved recognition, and thanks everyone who worked hard behind the scenes to make the ceremony a glittering success.
