Aberdeenshire West Schools Win sportscotland Awards

That the Parliament congratulates The Gordon Schools, and Midmar, Skene and Westhill primary schools, which are in the Aberdeenshire West constituency, on their success at the sportscotland School Sport Award 2018, which has been established to recognise schools that make conscious efforts to put young people at the forefront of decision making and the planning of school sport and aim to increase opportunities for pupils to participate; understands that 2017-18 saw record-breaking levels of participation in the sportscotland school sport programme, and hopes that it enjoys continued growth and success in engaging schools and communities.
