COPE Ltd of Shetland Wins at Learning Disability Awards

That the Parliament congratulates COPE Ltd of Shetland on winning a prestigious award for inventive business in the Enterprise category at Scotland’s Learning Disability Awards in Edinburgh on 18 May 2018; understands that the awards were hosted by the Scottish Commission for Learning Disability and celebrate and champion the achievements of people with learning disabilities across Scotland; commends the work of COPE Ltd, which has been in operation for over 20 years and has a turnover of over £1 million, in providing meaningful and supportive work placements and training opportunities for adults with learning disabilities across its businesses, such as the Shetland Soap Company and Shetlandeli, and wishes everyone at COPE Ltd further success in the future.
