That the Parliament congratulates Cathkin High School on winning the Scottish Schools Senior Shield at Hampden Park on 5 May 2018; notes that the team overcame St Ninian’s High School in Giffnock on penalties after the game ended 0-0 after 90 minutes; acknowledges the hard work of the Cathkin High School coaches, Mr Lindsay and Mr Haldane; recognises this fantastic achievement of the entire winning team of Robbie Hemfrey, Rhys Conner, David Thompson, Kyle Miller, Callum Miller, Cole McKinnon, Euan MacLeod, Jay Nelson. Iain Last, Baillie Hunter, Joshua Rankin, Kai Broadbent, Mitchell McKechnie, Fraser Scott, Reece Paterson and Ben Richford, and acknowledges the support of all of the school pupils, staff, friends and relatives who cheered the team to victory.
