St Thomas' Primary School Supports Down's Syndrome Scotland

  • Submitted by: Tom Arthur, Renfrewshire South, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Wednesday, 25 April 2018
  • Motion reference: S5M-11877

That the Parliament congratulates St Thomas' Primary School in Neilston on raising £150 for Down's Syndrome Scotland; understands that the money was raised through a series of charity events, including the charity's Lots of Socks celebration in March 2018, and that the pupils also organised a chocolate tombola, as well as a guess the teddy bear's birthday event; notes that this is only one of the charities that the pupils have supported this year, and wishes the pupils and staff well with their future fundraising efforts.
