That the Parliament congratulates the owners and staff of the Scalloway Hotel, which was selected as the Fine Dining Hotel of the Year at the 2018 Scottish Hotel Awards; notes that the hotel was recognised nationally for its award-winning cuisine, which showcases local delicacies such as Shetland smoked haddock, Shetland scallops and native Shetland lamb; recognises the Scalloway Hotel as a pillar of Shetland’s growing tourism industry, and acknowledges the Scottish Hotel Awards’ efforts to celebrate Scotland’s best hotels and hospitality professionals.
