Projekt 42 Wins One to Watch Award at the Social Enterprise Awards Scotland

That the Parliament congratulates Projekt 42 on its success in winning the One to Watch Award at the Social Enterprise Awards Scotland; notes that Projekt 42, which is an organisation based in the Edinburgh Northern and Leith constituency, is a not for profit organisation whose aim is to make exercise and fitness accessible and affordable for everyone; notes that it runs fitness, yoga and other classes from its hub in the Kirkgate Shopping Centre in Leith; notes that classes are open to all whatever their fitness level, experience and age; appreciates that its goal is to help people understand the connection between their mental health and physical fitness through carefully crafted fitness and yoga classes, guided meditation, life coaching and counselling; recognises the positive impact that this has had on many people who use the gym, helping to improve health and build a sense of community; notes that Projekt 42 has encouraged people into employment either directly through fitness qualifications or indirectly though building self-esteem; recognises that social enterprises throughout Scotland, such as Projekt 42, are building a better economy and fairer society, and appreciates that the Social Enterprise Awards Scotland offer recognition of the achievements of social enterprises and helps them in raising their public profile.
