That the Parliament welcomes the 12th annual EcoMEDIA conference, hosted by New College Lanarkshire, Coatbridge Campus, which takes place from 30 October to 3 November 2017; understands that the conference focus will be 'Developing Europe's young workforce through innovative education', and that this will provide an ideal opportunity for delegates, who come from various European countries, to share experiences in the field of educational innovation, the application of new technologies in education and effective learning and teaching methodologies; notes that this five-day event is intended to provide teachers, headmasters, college and university teachers, researchers and representatives from educational authorities with a valuable platform to exchange information, good practice and provide an opportunity to network with representatives from a broad range of both European and Scottish educational institutes; understands that a number of delegates will be visiting the Parliament for a guided tour, and wishes them an enjoyable visit and all participants and organisers every success with the event.
