Emmie Main Becomes Communica18 Participation Leader for Year of Young People

That the Parliament congratulates University of Edinburgh student, Emmie Main, from Buckie, on her new role as a participation leader with Communic18; understands that she will join a group of 35 young people selected from across Scotland to provide support and facilitate the inclusion of young people in the design, planning, and implementation of the Scottish Government’s Year of Young People; notes Emmie has previously participated in both the Scottish Youth Parliament and Moray Youth Council; recognises the importance of including young people in all important decisions and of having Year of Young People Ambassadors across Scotland; commends her outstanding efforts to serve her community and fellow young people, and wishes her further success in this exciting new role.
