That the Parliament congratulates Duncan Scott of the University of Stirling, who has been named Male Athlete of the Year at the Team Scotland Scottish Sport Awards 2017; recognises his incredible sporting success in 2017, including gold and silver at the FINA World Aquatics Championships in Budapest; acknowledges that this accolade comes on the 50th anniversary of the University of Stirling, and wishes the university continued success as Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence.
