That the Parliament congratulates the racehorse trainer, Iain Jardine, on producing Nakeeta, which won the Ebor Handicap at York Racecourse on 26 August 2017; notes that this now means that Scottish racehorse trainers have landed the two richest handicaps in the British racing calendar this year, after One For Arthur also won the Grand National in April; understands that Scotland has just 518 horses in training, 3.7% of the British total, and yet Scottish racing is producing winners on an international platform, and wishes all involved in the sector continued success.
