That the Parliament commends Lorraine Campbell, from Netherton in Wishaw, for her recent fundraising efforts on behalf of Breast Cancer Care, which saw her raise around £2,000 by holding a Ladies Day event at her home; understands that Lorraine underwent a kidney transplant in 1982, which was donated by her sister, Denise; recognises that Lorraine was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999 which she successfully overcame, before being diagnosed with skin cancer in 2012, then bladder cancer two years later, both of which she also subsequently overcame; commends Lorraine’s outstanding bravery and the example that she is setting her three sons and three grandchildren; understands that the donations included a generous offer to double the initial £900 total by Courier Connections in Bellshill, which employs Lorraine’s husband, Colin; commends the efforts of all of the Campbell family, and wishes them all the very best for the future.
