That the Parliament congratulates #IncludED in the Main?! (ENABLE Scotland) in the Uddingston and Bellshill constituency on winning the Cracking Campaign Award at the SCVO Scottish Charity Awards 2017; notes that the awards had 38 amazing finalists in more than eight categories, including a People’s Choice Award, which was open to public voting and saw over 11,000 votes cast across all finalists; understands that #IncludED in the Main?! (ENABLE Scotland) set out to listen to and amplify the voices of over 800 young people who have learning disabilities, as well as their parents and teachers; considers that those voices prompted systemic change in Scottish education for pupils who have learning disabilities, resulting in the Scottish Government publishing guidance on inclusive education; believes that #IncludED in the Main?! (ENABLE Scotland) is a key demonstration of the importance of third sector organisations and the role that they can play in encouraging and delivering policy change; wishes all of the finalists and those nominated all the very best for the future, and celebrates Scotland's diverse third sector organisations as a flavour of Scotland's diverse communities.
